The Data Analysis Group (DAG) is a team of scientists with strong computational, mathematical and statistical skills, who can provide advice and assistance on experimental design, programming, statistics and general biological data analysis. We collaborate on projects covering all aspects of bioinformatics and data analysis, ranging in size from those requiring a few hours work to those requiring a dedicated postdoctoral researcher hosted in the group.
Since the group was established in 2006, we have collaborated on more than 300 projects primarily within the School of Life Sciences, and also with a range of groups from across the University.
We offer training through a series of modular courses ranging from Introductions to Linux, R and programming through to modules dedicated to the analysis of different techniques such as RNA-Seq and ChIP-Seq.
We are based in the Division of Computational Biology, within the School of Life Sciences.
